20 minutes of pilates (tues-thur-sat)

no sweets.

Week 10

weight: 145lbs (1lb lost)

hips: 36.5in (1.5 in lost!)

waist: 32in

goals:

20 minutes of pilates everyday

drink 2 litres of water a day

vegetarian night.

This week I exercised every day.

(minus Monday, as I have mastitis, and I was in emerg getting drugs)

I did Pilates for Life: 20 Minute Pilates, Abs & Waist

I feel amazing.

1) I went to get my pump (from our bedroom) and this is what I found when I got back. He was saying “cheese” for me.

2) Ari is trying to roll over, hence the blurry picture.

3) I am so glad movember is over. He had a beard for a few month, and then shaved it off like this. joyous.

4. Teag didn’t know what to do with himself when he was given a sucker at a local restaurant.

I don’t know what it is.

At the start of every week, I get all excited thinking that *this* will be the week that I get my act together.

Every week I never complete my goals (except for veggie night).

I’m tired of it.

I want to see change, and I want to see it NOW.

This week I am cutting out sweets. It’s going to kill me.

This week I will drink my 2 litres of water.

Even if it kills me.

This week I exersized twice. This week I will exersize every other day.

I have completely failed in the drink water category. I am paying for it in the pumping area. MUST. DRINK. MORE. WATER!

Veggie night was a success.

I failed in the sweets department. I blame that on ice cream and “water for elephants”

This week will be better!

I’m not going to lie, I didn’t even try to work out this week.

I was lazy. My couch was comfy and I just didn’t want to.

I also didn’t drink 2 litres of water a day. I usually got 1.5 (there was one day were I got 3 in) litres in.

I can feel that I haven’t been drinking enough.

For our vegetarian night, I was suppose to do veggie burgers but because I didnt have any buns we ended up doing burritos.

They were delish!

*I know this isn’t friday, but our internet has been down since friday morning. Thankfully it is finally back up*

Last week

Week 4

weight: 148lbs (4lbs gained. lame.)

hips: 37in

week 4 goals:

walk 7kms & do 30 minutes of wii fit plus a day

try a new healthy recipe, (same recipes as last week*)

Walking goals, NAILED IT! I did 11.87kms!! WOOT WOOT.

Wii goals. haha didn’t even touch the wii.

and didn’t drink all of my water.

Week 5

weight: 149lbs.  (1lb gain)

hips: 38.5in (.15in gained)

waist: 32in (1in lost)

goals:

walk 10kms

45 min of wii fit a day.

drink 2 litres of water a day.

have vegetarian night! (This is especially hard as I have a freezer full of beef!)

I think I  have figured out why I have been gaining weight.

I’ve been staying up ridiculously late (some nights I’m up till 2!)

Eating copious amounts of trail mix (going through this bag, in a week…every week since Baby A was born…6 bags…not cool)

Eating late at night, and not healthy food either…I’m talking ice cream cake, pumpkin pie, chips…

That is why I’m gaining weight

This week, there will be no more trail mix, and no more junk food at night.

I realize that as a pumping mama, I do need to eat when hungry, but I definitely do not need to be eating junk!

Ugh. This week was not good. Seriously.

my excuses:

Little T is cutting all 4 eye teeth. AT.THE.SAME.TIME.

which means we aren’t sleeping at night.

teething fevers suck.

I’m lazy.

So the last few weeks of measurements are:

Week 1

Week 1 goal was to walk 5kms. COMPLETED!

Week 2

weight: 150lbs

hips: 39in

waist: 33in

Week 2 goals:

walk 7kms

drink 2 litres of water a day*

try a new healthy recipe. I’m thinking this

Week 3

weight: 144lbs

Week 4

This week was terrible. I *gained* four pounds.

I know how I did it.

  • I didn’t drink 2 litres of water everyday…on Sunday and Wednesday I didn’t meet my goal. It was tragic, I feel 100 times better when I drink all of my water.
  • I didn’t exercise hardly at all. With Little T teething, we haven’t been out much.
  • I ate ice cream cake and drank copious amounts of coke. Coke is my weekness. *the bevie, not the drug.

This week will be different, we have exciting things happening in the new year and I want to look at the picture and be proud…not regret how I looked.

Side note, I made amazing smoothies this week!

 Here’s a picture of one of them.

It has bananas, frozen raspberries and blueberries, a peach, spinach and ground flax seed….it was delish!!
