Never ceases to amaze me.

It never ceases to amaze me, how advanced the technology is, and how blessed we are to use it!

I got a phone call yesterday setting up an ultrasound appointment.

I thought they would book it for June, maybe  July (you know long these things take).

Nope, they had an appointment all set up for me, for today.

It was an amazing ultrasound. The tech explained everything to us, showed us every bone in babes body.

Showed us 10 little fingers

And perfect little crossed feet

The whole time Bubsie had its hand near its face. (which made it hard to get pictures of the cleft lip)

We found out that Bubsie does for sure have a cleft lip and  palate.

The doctor was amazing, he answered our questions before we even answered them.

And he has referred us to the “cleft and palate” team at the Children’s hospital and  to a geneticist.

I am at complete peace about our “situation” and know that we are getting the best care available.

  1. I will never cease to be amazed at the incredible miracle of a baby growing in a mother’s womb. Congratulations! The technology to be able to see your baby just blows me away. It’s good that your doctors have already referred you to a team as early treatment makes a big difference. There is a also a great support group for parents, Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation of Smiles. Thank you so much for sharing the joy of your baby pictures with us, it truly reminded me today of what is really important.
