Since posting our “news” yesterday, I feel an over abundance of love and kindness being showered on us.
For all the emails and phone calls. The reassurance that Bubsie is and will be perfect, regardless of the cleft lip.
I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Now I do believe I have some bump pictures to share!
We had our appointnment today to discuss what was going on with Bubsie.
He explained the different types of cleft lip/palate smiles that are out there, and told us that Bubs has a right sided cleft lip.
Bubsie will for sure have to have surgery, right now we are unsure of how soon it will happen after birth.
We are also being refered up to the specialist in the city, at which time we will be told if we are delivering in our small town or delivering in the city.
Personally, I would rather deliver in the city, I did with Little T and I don’t regret a minute of it.
In the end, we will do what is best for Bubsie, regardless of what that means. Because in the end Bubsie is our child and we will fight the fight for our children.
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
